The team values high-quality teaching, learner-centered methods, and continuous improvement.Role Description The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This full-time, on-site position, based in Qesm El Maadi, will manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries. The role will monitor budgets, cash flows, and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making and organizational growth. The Senior Financial Accountant will maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely submission of tax and regulatory filings. The position will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, cost control, and process optimization.Qualifications Proficiency in Finance and strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in line with relevant standards (e.g., IFRS or local GAAP).Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related tools, with the ability to improve processes and ensure data integrity.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.Several years of progressive accounting experience, including senior or lead responsibilities within a finance or accounting team.Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and familiarity with tax and regulatory compliance.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
