Role Description The Senior Finishing Engineer will oversee and manage the finishing stages of construction projects to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Responsibilities include supervising site operations, inspecting and approving finishes, coordinating with contractors and architects, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The role requires proactive problem-solving, adherence to safety standards, and regular reporting to project management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. Qualifications Strong knowledge of construction finishing, material selection, and quality standardsProject management skills, including task prioritization and timeline managementAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project documentsExperience in supervising teams and collaborating with contractors, architects, and stakeholdersProficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management applicationsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to achieving a high-quality final productBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related fieldPrevious experience in construction finishing on large-scale or complex projectsFamiliarity with local building codes and safety regulations in Egypt
