Rimo Tours has proudly received the TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards for 2023 and 2024.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Heliopolis in a full-time on-site role. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in strengthening internal controls, reviewing financial operations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization.The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for reviewing invoices before issuance, monitoring daily collections and financial transactions, auditing operational and accounting processes, and identifying risks, errors, or irregularities. The role also includes analyzing financial data, improving internal procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies, and preparing clear audit reports and recommendations for management.Candidates with previous experience in the tourism, transportation, hospitality, or travel industry are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and verify invoices before issuance to ensure pricing accuracy and complianceAudit daily collections, cash flow, and financial transactionsReconcile operational reports with revenues and bookingsMonitor refunds, discounts, and exceptional transactionsReview internal expenses, petty cash, and financial approvalsEvaluate and improve internal control proceduresDetect financial discrepancies, risks, or potential fraudPrepare detailed audit reports with recommendations for managementEnsure compliance with company policies and financial regulationsCollaborate with finance and operations teams to improve efficiency and accountabilityConduct periodic audits across branches and departmentsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Financial Audit, or Revenue AuditPrevious experience in tourism, transportation, hospitality, or travel companies is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, and audit proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and handle confidential information professionallyExcellent communication and reporting skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systemsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent are considered a strong advantage
