Senior Procurement Engineer

Job Profile:We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Engineer with a strong background in industrial manufacturing and mechanical sourcing to join our procurement team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of mechanical spare parts, industrial equipment, and manufacturing-related services.Job Responsibilities:Lead sourcing activities, including identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, with a strong focus on mechanical spare parts, industrial equipment, and maintenance services.Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and reliable supply.Manage and follow up on all ongoing purchase orders to ensure compliance with agreed terms, specifications, and delivery schedules.Coordinate with internal departments to align delivery schedules and ensure smooth receipt and utilization of materials.Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Payment Requests (PRs) in line with company procedures.Handle the full procurement cycle from PO creation to delivery follow-up, including issue resolution and escalation when required.Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.Prepare detailed commercial and technical comparison sheets to support supplier evaluation and final award decisions.Manage supplier performance and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.Handle supplier claims, follow up on discrepancies, and ensure compensation or corrective actions where applicable.Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely supplier payments according to agreed terms.Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance. Job Requirements:Beni-Suef residents only (Mandatory).Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors.Strong technical knowledge of mechanical spare parts, industrial equipment, and maintenance requirements.Proven experience in supplier management, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure optimal commercial and technical terms.Excellent understanding of procurement best practices within a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.Key Skills:Negotiation & communication skills.Analytical thinking.Problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail.Supplier relationship management.Job Location:Candidates must be residents of Beni Suef or nearby governorates.
