Senior Site Engineer

The Senior Site Engineer at Nawy Real Estate will take a lead role in supervising construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the project specifications and applicable regulations. This position involves mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with various stakeholders to uphold quality standards and meet project deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all on-site activities, ensuring effective execution of construction plans according to specifications and timelinesReview and interpret project drawings, specifications, and related documents to provide clarity to the engineering team and subcontractorsConduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulationsOversee material procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of resources necessary for construction activitiesCommunicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to report on progress, challenges, and solutionsMentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, fostering professional development and ensuring adherence to best practicesDocument daily site activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of progress and issues encounteredResolve technical problems on-site promptly and efficiently, implementing solutions in collaboration with project teamsEnsure all site operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulationsAssist in the final project close-out process, including compiling completion documentation and warranty claimsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, with at least 2 years in a senior roleExtensive knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulationsProficiency in project management and engineering softwareStrong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively manage teamsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detailCapacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesFluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
