This is a fully accountable senior role overseeing the end-to-end supply chain across costume, accessory and apparel product ranges. You will lead supplier relationships, the buy calendar, purchase order delivery, and product and packaging compliance from day one.Role DescriptionYou will act as the central point of contact between an Asia-based manufacturing network and UK-based internal teams spanning Design, Merchandising, Finance, Logistics, and marketplace technical. The overseas supply chain will look to you for direction and leadership through highly seasonal deadlines. This is an independent, hands-on remit for someone with the credibility to hit the ground running and own the function without close oversight from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier & Factory Relationships โ Own Tier 1 and 2 supplier partnerships, performance matrices, and yearly commercial terms negotiation.Manufacturing Calendar Ownership โ Agree and manage the annual buy calendar across seasonal order categories with internal stakeholders.Production Meeting Leadership โ Lead weekly production meetings, ensuring live POs remain on schedule across all key milestones.Critical Path Management โ Update PO critical paths in tracker tools and drive on-time delivery decisions across categories.Cost & Commercial Negotiation โ Negotiate prices using volume, FX, and raw material levers; report savings each season.Packaging & Compliance Sign-Off โ Oversee artwork, labelling, and SIL submissions; manage QC and product testing timelines.Systems & Team Management โ Operate the ERP system end-to-end; coach junior supply chain merchandisers and managers.Minimum QualificationsSupply Chain Experience โ 5+ years managing supply chain within consumer goods, apparel, or seasonal product sectors.Asia Factory Management โ Proven direct factory relationship management, ideally with Asia-based manufacturing partners and overseas teams.End-to-End PO Ownership โ Strong record managing PO volume across multiple product categories from briefing through delivery.Systems Proficiency โ Hands-on experience with ERP systems, critical path tracker tools, and advanced Excel workflows.Commercial Literacy โ Comfortable with pricing, payment terms, FX processes, and structured cost negotiation conversations.Independent Operator โ Owns problems, drives solutions, and remains decisive under non-negotiable seasonal delivery pressure.Stakeholder Communication โ Strong communicator across overseas factory partners and UK-based cross-functional internal stakeholders.Bonus QualificationsMarketplace Channel Exposure โ Familiarity with marketplace technical teams managing item setup and restricted product workflows.Team Coaching Experience โ Track record managing, coaching, and developing junior supply chain team members.BenefitsTop-of-the-market pay.Remote working.Potential for flexible hours.Becoming a part of Palm Outsourcing, where your performance is rewarded in long-term job security and continued growth opportunities.Ready to elevate?Hit apply, complete your profile, and let the right opportunities come to you.
