Floor In supports both new industrial developments and renovation projects, partnering closely with clients to transform their spaces and meet operational needs.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Cairo. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee daily construction activities related to industrial floors and associated civil works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and technical documents, supervising layout and execution of civil works, and monitoring quality control and material usage. The role also involves site inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting planning and progress reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement of construction methods and standards.QualificationsStrong foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of construction materials, structural behavior, and industrial flooring requirements.Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Planning, including interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules.Experience with Stormwater Management and site infrastructure, including drainage systems and surface water control.Background working as a Civil Engineer on site-based projects, preferably within industrial or commercial environments.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and standards; familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Experience in supervising site works, conducting inspections, and implementing quality and safety procedures.Proficiency in basic engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office); knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial for coordination on local sites.
