With over 20 years of experience.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Office Engineer role based in Cairo. The Technical Office Engineer will prepare, review, and update shop drawings and technical documentation for industrial flooring and related works. Responsibilities include preparing and verifying quantities, assisting in BOQ development, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of designs. The role involves supporting tender and estimation activities, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements. The Technical Office Engineer will also help resolve technical issues, participate in progress meetings, and provide timely technical reports and documentation.QualificationsStrong technical background in Civil Engineering with experience in industrial or construction projects.Quality control in project executionProficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and related technical documents (Shop Drawings).Experience in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ, Quantity Surveying).Excellent skills in CAD and other engineering design/drafting software.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams.Previous experience in industrial flooring, finishing, or similar construction fields is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Cairo and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
