SummaryThe SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Also have some information of windows administration and networkThe successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the SQL Server, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of multiple development teams.Responsibilities:Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systemsConfigure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and securityApply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectationsIndependently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-endRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinementProvide 24x7 support for critical production systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursShare domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team membersCheck status of database and fine tuning its performanceDetermination needed servers (operating systems, hardware, prerequisites…)Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve implementation errorsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree4+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience requiredExperience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExperience with backups, restores and recovery modelsKnowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL ServerExperience working with Windows server, including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communicationFlexible, team player, “get-it-done” personalityAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teamsBanking Experience is a strong plusMCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plusknowledge of Linux and WindowsBasic information of ORACLE databaseFluent in EnglishWork under pressure Powered by JazzHRkT0srreImG
