We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageRole Overview:The Steel Structures Engineer (PMC) will be responsible for overseeing design reviews, technical evaluations, and construction coordination of structural steel works. The role requires strong expertise in BIM/Revit, design validation, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The engineer will act as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality and efficient project outcomes.Responsibilities: 1. Design Review & Quality AssuranceReview and evaluate structural steel drawings using Revit/BIM tools.Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and standards.Identify design inconsistencies and potential risks at early stages.2. Technical EvaluationReview and verify steel calculations prepared by others, particularly for supporting systems related to mechanical and electrical works.Validate engineering methodologies, assumptions, and load considerations.3. Submittals & Shop Drawing ReviewAssess material submittals for compliance with project requirements.Review shop drawings for accuracy and alignment with approved designs.Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to resolve technical discrepancies.4. Construction CoordinationAttend site coordination meetings to align design intent with execution.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, and MEP) to resolve clashes.Monitor fabrication and installation processes for quality and compliance.5. BIM Management & CollaborationUtilize Revit/BIM for model development, clash detection, and coordination.Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.Support collaboration between design and construction teams using BIM platforms.6. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare technical reports, design review summaries, and inspection documentation.Maintain accurate records of approvals, revisions, and coordination activities.Provide input on risks, progress, and compliance to management.Requirements:4–7 years of proven professional experience in structural steel engineering.Strong proficiency with Revit/BIM for design review and coordination.Demonstrated experience in reviewing structural designs and calculations.Proven ability in reviewing material submittals and shop drawings.Exposure to construction activities including coordination, installation, and fabrication.Kind Note:* While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
