We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageAbout the Role:The Planning & Urban Design Department is seeking to hire Mid-Senior Urban Designers to join the Cairo Design Center as part of a multidisciplinary creative team. The role is ideal for professionals with strong urban design and master planning experience who can contribute to high-profile regional and international projects across the Gulf Area and MENA Region.The selected candidates will play a key role in leading creative urban design solutions, managing project delivery, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring world-class design standards and client satisfaction.Responsibilities:Design & Project LeadershipLead the development of high-quality urban design and master planning concepts during conceptual and visionary stages.Deliver innovative and creative urban design solutions for large-scale, complex projects.Act as Group Leader and/or Project Manager on assigned projects.Ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with company quality standards and project objectives.Technical & Design DeliveryPrepare and oversee urban design presentations, reports, graphics, and presentation materials with strong visual and communication standards.Apply strong urban graphics and visualization capabilities across urban-scale projects.Maintain a sound understanding of urban design methodologies, planning principles, and technical coordination requirements.Ensure compliance with the company QA/QC procedures and standards across all deliverables.Stakeholder & Client ManagementRepresent the company in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants.Communicate urban design ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.Coordinate with multidisciplinary internal departments and external consultants including architects, urban planners, economists, and engineering teams.Team Management & MentorshipSupervise, guide, and mentor junior urban designers, planners, and interns.Foster collaboration and teamwork within multidisciplinary project environments.Support knowledge sharing and professional development initiatives within the department.Requirements:EducationBachelor’s Degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, or Architecture.Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Urban Design or Planning is considered an advantage.Experience7–15 years of relevant professional experience within multidisciplinary design consultancy environments.Proven experience working on large-scale urban design and masterplanning projects, preferably within the Gulf Area and MENA Region.Experience in international projects and client-facing roles is highly preferred.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of urban design processes and technical coordination.Proficiency in industry-standard software including:Adobe Creative SuiteAutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar CAD softwareSketchUpKnowledge of the following is considered a strong advantage:Esri ArcGISCity EngineAutodesk FormaRhino / GrasshopperCompetencies:Strong conceptual and creative design capabilities.Excellent graphic presentation and visualization skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work proactively under demanding schedules and tight deadlines.Strong stakeholder management and teamwork capabilities.Sketching skills are considered a plus.** While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
