Job Purpose:The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and executing supply plans across six manufacturing sites and importation operations. This role ensures product availability, optimizes production schedules, and balances supply with demand while maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. The manager will act as a key link between manufacturing, procurement, demand planning, and customer service to guarantee uninterrupted supply to local, export, and toll manufacturing markets.Job Responsibilities:Supply Planning· Develop and manage medium- and long-term supply plans for six manufacturing sites and importation channels.· Balance production capacity, raw material availability, and demand forecasts to ensure optimal supply.· Lead monthly Supply Review meetings as part of the S&OP cycle.· Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning processes.Material Planning· Coordinate with procurement to secure timely availability of imported APIs, excipients, and packaging materials.· Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.Production Planning· Align production schedules across six sites to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.· Ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.· Collaborate with site managers to address capacity constraints and prioritize production.Importation Operations· Oversee planning and scheduling of imported pharmaceutical products and raw materials.· Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import permits, and quality standards.· Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize lead times and costs.· Manage risks related to international supply disruptions.Cross-Functional Collaboration· Work closely with Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to align supply with business objectives.· Support commercial teams in product launches and market expansions.· Provide visibility of supply constraints and propose mitigation plans.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.· Minimum 8–12 years of experience in supply planning or operations within the pharmaceutical industry.· Strong knowledge of ERP systems, forecasting tools, and S&OP processes.· Experience managing multi-site operations and importation logistics.· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.· Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.Key Competencies· Strategic planning: Ability to design and execute long-term supply strategies.· Leadership: Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.· Regulatory compliance: Deep understanding of GMP, import/export laws, and pharmaceutical standards.· Risk management: Proactive in identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.· Operational excellence: Focused on efficiency, cost optimization, and service reliability.·Performance Indicators· Improving Supply Mix OTIF.
