We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageJob Overview:We require a passionate, talented, collaborative and experienced professional to join the Landscape Department, working directly with department management in setting up and managing a design excellence team within the landscape department.Responsibilities:The role is tasked with making early concepts tangible and developing technical design packages beyond Concept Stage.Promote creativity and attention to details within the design team, mentoring and guiding junior Landscape Architect and DesignersOversee and be accountable for quality and timely delivery of output from the design team.Demonstrate leadership skills with a wide knowledge and experience base across multi-disciplinesAssist in structured recruitment and interface with design schools and universities.The role will involve travel overseas for client facing meetings and project specific tasks as and when requiredDesign Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects and designers.Manage workload distribution, project resources, and deadlines within the team.Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Design Stewardship & Project ManagementOversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.Guide the development of concepts, master plans, and advanced design packages.Ensure design integrity, technical accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.Review and validate deliverables at all stages of the project lifecycle.Coordination & RepresentationCollaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and other consultants.Engage and lead in client and stakeholder’s meetings, workshops, and presentations.Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture/design and preferably a postgraduate degree/diploma in Landscape architecture. Able to lead and develop all design narratives within the design studio Create design excellence and manage resourcing and role allocation within the design studio.Have previously obtained internationally recognized design awards for their work and actively seek future awards for the design studioExperienced in master planning/concept to schematic designHave had previous design experience in high end/exclusive developments including public realm and hospitality projectsAble to communicate design through clear graphics including diagrams, site plans, sections and renderings to convey design intent Knowledge of materials including planting, furnishing and hardscape An ability to execute with design excellence and attention to detail The ability to sketch/develop designs on paper and digitally Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously Experience in working on a variety of scales and typologies varying from master planning to site specific landscapesLead in developing marketing material and promote the design studio to a wider client basePositive, solution focused approachProven ability to manage studio workload and time.Excellent English writing, verbal communication and presenting skillsSelf-motivated and ambitious Ability to build strong relationships with other departments, area offices, and project sites as required.Strong desire to deliver design excellenceAbility to embed the new structure and develop new ways of working.Excellent technical skills, able to monitor design developmentFirm understanding of design processCompetent designer Previous design studio experience with famous landscape studios/brandsExperience of working in the MENA RegionDepartment wide- technical leadership and strategic leadership skills.Kind Note:* While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
