Main Responsibilities1. Project Study & PlanningStudy the project’s BOQs, drawings, and specifications to fully understand the operational requirements.Oversee the review of IFT and IFC design and technical documents and ensure that required technical queries (TQs/RFIs) are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner.2. Shop Drawings & Technical SubmissionsDevelop task schedules, allocate resources, and assign responsibilities to the assigned Mechanical team.Manage the preparation of complete, accurate Mechanical shop drawings (e.g., Firefighting, Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, Water Features & Pump Rooms) in coordination with all trades.Review and approve created shop drawings, conduct technical checks and random audits to maintain the highest standards of quality.3. BIM ManagementOversee the development or updating of BIM models to Level of Detail (LOD) 400 within the agreed timeframe.Act as the main point of contact for all BIM-related technical matters. (BIM SME Task)Train and support team members in BIM tools and best practices. (BIM SME Task)4. Design ReviewEnsure that the design report is complete from the design and construction point of view and issue the value engineering report if any for all projects. 5. Consultant & Site CoordinationMonitor and notify any variation orders during the construction phase, coordinating timely documentation and approvals.Attend site meetings to address and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the site team, ensuring smooth project implementation.6.
