Testing Engineer

Job PurposeExecute and support product testing activities for transformers and controls during production and post-production stages. Ensure testing accuracy, compliance with international standards, and customer requirements through consistent test execution, documentation, and collaboration with production and quality teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform various types of tests on products during the production process and on finished products according to standards and specifications.Conduct test preparation activities based on product specifications and test plans.Document lab results, analyze outcomes, and draft accurate test reports.Run tests consistently, ensuring adherence to international standards and customer requirements.Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure final products meet standards and client specifications.Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and safety requirements in all testing operations.Participate in customer technical committees and support product approval activities through test demonstration and reporting.Maintain testing equipment in proper condition and support calibration schedules.Contribute to developing skills of lab technicians to ensure accurate and reliable test execution.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.1–3 years of experience in product testing, quality assurance, or related engineering role.Technical competencies:Knowledge of transformer/electrical equipment testing standards (IEC, IEEE, or equivalent).Proficiency in test procedures, documentation, and reporting.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with calibration standards and lab equipment handling.Basic knowledge of ERP systems and lab management tools (preferred).Interpersonal Competencies:Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Good communication skills for coordination with production and quality teams.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
