We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson / Designer to join our remote team and support residential construction projects for clients in the United States.This role is critical in delivering high-quality construction documents and ensuring compliance with regional building codes. You will collaborate closely with US-based architects, engineers, and project managers to produce accurate and comprehensive drawing sets.Key responsibilities include:Draft and produce residential construction documents in AutoCAD, including plans, sections, and fully dimensioned drawingsDevelop structural layouts and perform basic structural path sizing for residential buildingsPrepare electrical and plumbing riser diagramsCreate and maintain drawing annotations and tags (smoke detectors, windows, doors)Develop footing details, window schedules, and door schedulesIncorporate redlines and revisions; ensure drawing set completeness and consistencyCoordinate deliverables to align with New York State residential building code requirements (New Jersey code familiarity is a plus)Requirements5+ years of professional experience drafting residential construction documents in AutoCADStrong AutoCAD drafting skills for residential construction documentsProven ability to independently develop basic residential structural layouts and perform structural load path sizingExperience producing electrical and plumbing riser diagrams for residential projectsExperience producing residential drawing set components including sections, details, fully dimensioned plans, window/door schedules, and footing detailsKnowledge of New York State residential building codeExperience coordinating day-to-day with US-based architects, engineers, and project managersEnglish proficiency at CEFR C1 level (spoken and written), with ability to provide a brief voice note introducing yourself in EnglishPortfolio or work samples of residential drafting/construction document workAbility to provide details of your equipment setup (PC/laptop specs, monitors, AutoCAD-capable setup), power backup, and internet connection including backupsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with New Jersey residential building codeBenefitsCompetitive salaryOpportunity to work on diverse and exciting projectsSupportive and collaborative work environmentWeekly paymentsWeekends offGrowth Opportunities
