About the Role:As our Key Stage 3 Science teacher, you’ll support students as they transition into more structured scientific thinking—building strong foundations in biology, chemistry, and physics. Using our curriculum as a guide, you’ll create engaging and challenging lessons that develop analytical thinking and scientific literacy.You’ll encourage students to question, investigate, and connect scientific concepts to the world around them—preparing them for more advanced study. ???? Key Responsibilities:Deliver dynamic Science lessons in English to students in Years 7–8. Plan and implement curriculum-aligned units across scientific disciplines. Lead structured experiments and foster safe laboratory practices. Develop students’ ability to analyze data, form hypotheses, and draw conclusions. Use real-world contexts to make science relevant and engaging. Assess progress through tests, projects, and practical work. Collaborate with colleagues across subjects. Maintain clear communication with students and parents. ???? We’re Looking for Someone Who:Has strong subject knowledge across general science disciplines. Can challenge and motivate early secondary learners. Is confident managing lab environments and practical work. Is fluent in English with excellent instructional skills. Understands the developmental needs of 11–13-year-olds. Is organized, engaging, and adaptable. Values collaboration and reflective teaching. ???? Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field. Teaching experience in middle school or Key Stage 3 (preferred). Experience with lab-based teaching (desirable).
