???? About the Role:As our Key Stage 2 English teacher, you’ll support students in developing strong literacy skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Using our curriculum as a foundation, you’ll create engaging lessons that foster creativity, comprehension, and confident communication.You’ll bring language to life through storytelling, literature, and writing projects that allow students to express ideas and connect with the world around them. ???? Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging English lessons to students in Years 4–5. Plan and adapt curriculum-based units in reading, writing, and language skills. Develop students’ writing through creative, narrative, and structured tasks. Foster a love of reading through diverse texts and discussions. Encourage speaking and listening through presentations and group work. Assess and track student progress in literacy development. Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects. Communicate effectively with students and parents. ???? We’re Looking for Someone Who:Is passionate about literacy and language development. Can inspire creativity and confidence in young writers. Has experience with interactive and student-centered teaching. Is fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Understands the developmental needs of 8–10-year-olds. Is engaging, patient, and adaptable. Values collaboration and continuous improvement. ???? Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field. Teaching experience in primary English (preferred). Familiarity with literacy instruction strategies (desirable).
