Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Financial Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors. Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and performance evaluation. Drive profitability, cash flow optimization, and sustainable growth initiatives. Financial Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Monitor financial performance against budgets and business plans. Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and management information. Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling for real estate development projects. Real Estate Project Finance Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and development projects. Analyze project profitability, ROI, IRR, NPV, and cash flow projections. Oversee project financing structures and funding requirements. Support land acquisition and development decisions through financial due diligence. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow planning and liquidity requirements. Oversee banking relationships, debt facilities, and financing arrangements. Ensure optimal capital structure and working capital management. Monitor and manage financial risks related to funding and investments. Accounting & Financial Reporting Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Oversee accounting operations in compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Ensure the integrity of financial records and reporting systems. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. Risk Management & Compliance Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial governance frameworks. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate policies. Manage external audits and regulatory reporting. Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Investor & Stakeholder Relations Support communications with investors, lenders, auditors, and key stakeholders. Prepare financial presentations for Board meetings and investment committees. Assist in fundraising, capital raising, and financing negotiations. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams. Establish performance objectives and professional development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role. Proven experience within Real Estate Development, Property Development, Construction, or Investment sectors. Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise. Advanced financial modeling and project feasibility analysis skills. Extensive knowledge of real estate development financing and investment structures. Strong understanding of IFRS, taxation, and corporate finance principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
