Job Purpose :As part of the HSE department team, conduct all activities pertaining to emergency care for medical and work related injuries on site and response in accordance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan.Job Description:Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) PlanningIdentify and prevent health, safety, and environmental risks within the site.Maintain a Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) below the established site target.Participate actively in the ongoing process of health and safety risk identification.Equipment Maintenance & InspectionsConduct 100% of inspections as outlined in the section work plan.Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on medical appliances to ensure zero disruption to clinic services.Inspect and maintain specialized equipment: Spirometry tools, Defibrillators, Multi-Parameter Monitors, and Alcolisers (Fixed/Portable).Execute rigorous checklists for ALS bags, Resuscitation trolleys, Dressing trolleys, and Ambulances.Perform weekly AED (Automated External Defibrillator) checks and monitor equipment cleaning logs.Emergency Response & Clinical CareProvide 24/7 emergency response, including critical care, stabilization, and patient transportation/referral.Serve as a core member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).Deliver primary healthcare and medical surveillance testing as required.Conduct drug and alcohol testing and maintain the corresponding registers.Manage clinic security, drug stock control, and infection control/waste management protocols.Training & CompetenceMaintain personal competence by attending regular and annual refresher Emergency Response (ER) training.Deliver first aid training to staff and oversee medical training for the Emergency Response Team.Participate in Continued Medical Education (CME) programs provided by SGM.Ensure all ER staff complete a minimum of 30 refresher training hours per month.Communication & ReportingSubmit daily, weekly, and monthly clinic reports to management.Communicate primary health procedures and contacts to all relevant stakeholders.Conduct and document regular clinic meetings and weekly minutes.Monitor and report clinic trends or anomalies to management.Administration & Data ControlManage all administrative duties, including emails, stock requests, quotes, and equipment procurement.Ensure 100% of patient records are completed, filed appropriately, and kept strictly confidential.Update and maintain all documentation in accordance with the HSE document control system.Follow up on corrective actions from drills, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring no action remains outstanding for more than three months.Job Requirements:Minimum QualificationsBachelor of Nursing from a recognized university or faculty.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Valid Egyptian national or international driver’s license.Minimum ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience.Prior experience in the mining industry or industrial sites is highly advantageous.Job-Specific SkillsHigh level of physical fitness and ability to pass pre-employment medical examinations.Deep understanding of emergency health risks specific to remote and isolated mining operations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-pressure environment.Proficiency in computer software for data entry and documentation.Strong command of the English language.Proven ability to write and present detailed medical and operational reports.Generic Skills & CompetenciesInterpersonal Excellence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work within a diverse team.Professional Initiative: High level of self-motivation, initiative, and a collaborative "team player" attitude.Problem Solving: Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex medical or operational issues.Job Location & Accommodation• Sukari Gold Mines, Red Sea – Marsa Alam• 20 days onsite / 10 days off• Home-to-site transportation provided• Full accommodation and well-being facilities provided
