Jop Purpose: The Community Relations & Communications Supervisor is responsible for supporting the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of community engagement, stakeholder relations, and internal and external communications activities.The role contributes to strengthening structured engagement with local communities, enhancing corporate reputation, ensuring alignment with AngloGold Ashanti’s sustainability, governance, and communications frameworks, and supporting transparent, compliant, and impactful social performance delivery.Job Description:Support structured and consistent engagement with local communities, NGOs, community-based organizations, and relevant governmental authorities.Facilitate inclusive community engagement initiatives, with a specific focus on women, vulnerable groups, and underrepresented stakeholders.Support and coordinate women-focused programs and Women’s Council initiatives.Assist in communication and coordination with labor unions at both national and international levels.Support grievance response, community feedback processes, and follow-up actions in coordination with the Sustainability team.Coordinate internal and external communications related to site visits, investor delegations, VIP visits, ministerial engagements, and official events.Act as a focal point for coordination of crisis and sensitive communications, ensuring timely, consistent, and approved messaging.Coordinate with media outlets, journalists, and newspapers for content development, review, revision, and publication in line with corporate communication protocols.Manage Sukari’s official social media platforms, ensuring responsible content, accurate messaging, stakeholder engagement, and brand alignment.Support reputation risk management through proactive communication planning and monitoring.Coordinate internal and external visits, meetings, workshops, and official engagements.Oversee corporate branding initiatives and approved giveaways (e.g., New Year items, official event materials), ensuring compliance with governance, ethics, and conflict-of-interest requirements.Coordinate Sukari’s participation in industry forums, conferences, and public events, including the Egyptian Mining Forum and other sector-related engagements.Ensure consistent visual identity and messaging across all communication materials and public-facing activities.Implement community and stakeholder surveys, data collection tools, and basic analysis to support informed decision-making.Support sustainability and ESG reporting inputs (e.g., GRI, ESG disclosures) through accurate documentation of activities, engagement outcomes, and expenditures.Maintain organized records of community engagement activities, communications outputs, and event documentation.Ensure alignment with corporate governance standards, transparency requirements, and internal controls across all community and communication activities.Enhance coordination between Sustainability, Security, HR, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, and other relevant departments.Support efficient workflow management within the Sustainability Section through task coordination, follow-up, and supervision.Contribute to risk mitigation related to stakeholder relations, community tensions, reputation, and external communications.Support the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and monitoring sustainability and community relations activities.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degreeMinimum 5 years of experienceSupervisory skillsExperience in Communication and Stakeholder EngagementEducation level: bachelor’s or master’s degreeFluent in English (written and spoken)Preferably specialized courses in Sustainability or ESGGood communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
