Job SummaryThe Commercial Officer & Logistics Support is responsible for supporting commercial activities, coordinating logistics operations, managing customer and supplier communications, monitoring orders, and ensuring smooth delivery of goods and services. The role requires close coordination with sales, procurement, warehouses, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure efficient business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process quotations, sales orders, contracts, and commercial documentation.Coordinate with customers regarding inquiries, orders, delivery schedules, and order status updates.Support the sales team in preparing proposals, tenders, and commercial offers.Maintain accurate customer records and commercial databases.Monitor contract compliance and ensure all commercial terms are properly implemented.Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.Follow up on customer payments and outstanding invoices when required.Logistics ResponsibilitiesCoordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and transportation providers.Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs documentation.Track shipments and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers.Coordinate with warehouses regarding inventory availability and dispatch schedules.Resolve logistics issues such as shipment delays, customs clearance challenges, and delivery discrepancies.Ensure compliance with company policies and local/international logistics regulations.Administrative SupportMaintain organized records of commercial and logistics transactions.Prepare periodic reports on logistics performance, shipment status, and operational KPIs.Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in commercial operations, logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred.Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good command of English, both written and spoken.
