🚢 We’re Hiring: Container Repair Engineer 📍 Location: AlexandriaWe are looking for a hands-on Container Repair Engineer to lead daily operations and drive performance across our yards in Alexandria.Key Responsibilities:• Lead daily ground operations across both yards with regular on-site presence• Supervise a team of coordinators and 12–14 blue-collar workers (hiring, training, performance)• Review and finalize repair estimates, and handle customer inquiries & escalations• Ensure tools, equipment, and inventory are always operational• Approve employee requests and enforce company policies• Support business growth by scouting new customers in Alexandria• Manage attendance reporting for payroll and performance tracking• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives• Oversee external repairs at ports, terminals, and client sites• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards• Track and report KPIs monthly (turnaround time, utilization, satisfaction, cost per repair)Requirements:• 2+ years of experience in depot management, container services, terminals, or similar• Marine engineering background is a strong plus• Strong English communication skills• Hands-on mindset (experience over certifications)• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook• Strong leadership skills, especially with blue-collar teams• Fully committed to on-site work and proactive problem-solving
