Role PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled Digital Power Solution Architect with strong expertise in Power Automation systems to design and deliver advanced energy management and electrical automation solutions.The role is responsible for architecting end-to-end digital power solutions combining electrical distribution, automation, and software platforms. The Solution Architect acts as a key technical leader—driving customer engagement, influencing specifications, and ensuring successful solution delivery across complex projects.The position focuses on energy automation systems (SCADA, protection relays, RTUs, and communication networks) within the EcoStruxure Power ecosystem.Key Responsibilities Solution Design & ArchitectureDesign and develop integrated power automation solutions for electrical distribution systems (MV & LV)Deliver system architectures covering: Protection & control (relays, automation controllers)SCADA / EcoStruxure Power Automation SystemRTUs, gateways, and communication networksEnsure solutions meet customer requirements in: Reliability, availability, and safetyCybersecurity complianceScalability and future expansionThe role is aligned with delivering IoT-enabled power monitoring and control solutions combining hardware, software, and services Power Automation & Technical ExpertiseLead design of energy automation and substation automation systemsDefine communication architectures using: IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104Drive integration between: Protection systemsEnergy management and SCADA platformsSupport advanced use cases such as: Fault detection, isolation, and restoration (FDIR)Power quality monitoring and analytics Customer Engagement & AdvisoryAct as a trusted technical advisor to: End users (utilities, data centers, large buildings)Consultants, EPCs, and system integratorsEngage early in project lifecycle to: Influence technical specificationsShape solution architectureTranslate customer needs into innovative, customized digital solutionsThe Solution Architect is expected to consult with customers and guide design decisions as a trusted advisor Proposal & Tendering SupportLead preparation of technical proposals including: System architecture diagramsBill of materials (BoQ/BoM)Technical specifications and scope of workSupport commercial teams in: Technical presentationsCustomer workshopsBid clarifications Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with: Sales and Key Account ManagersPresales and tendering teamsProject execution and services teamsProvide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycleEnsure smooth transition from design to executionThe role requires collaboration with account teams, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver complete solutionsQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentMaster’s degree is a plusFrench Speaking is a mustExperience5–10+ years of experience in: Electrical distribution systemsPower automation / SCADA systemsEnergy management solutionsProven experience in solution design for complex projectsTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in: Protection relays and automation systemsSCADA / Power Management Systems (e.g., PME, PSAS)Substation and energy automationKnowledge of: Communication protocols (IEC 61850 preferred)Industrial networking and cybersecurityPower quality solutionsLet us learn about you!
