Key Responsibilities:Engineering Analysis: Receive and analyze engineering drawings for both Standard (Mass production) and Customized (Project-based) furniture.BOM Creation & Management: Develop comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM), breaking down products into individual components, parts, and raw materials.SAP Data Management: * Create and manage unique item codes for all parts and accessories.Upload and maintain accurate BOMs on the SAP system.Configure production routings to facilitate accurate planning and manufacturing.Material Coordination: Liaise directly with the Planning Department to define the raw materials and hardware required for production orders based on the finalized estimation.Technical Error Prevention: Rigorously review data entries to prevent the purchase of incorrect materials or the production of faulty items.Field Verification: Conduct periodic visits to the Factory Floor to match SAP data with physical production, ensuring that accessories and raw materials used align with the technical specifications.Revision & Updates: Process technical changes or modifications in designs and reflect them immediately on the system to maintain data integrity.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Applied Arts - Furniture Design).2–5 years of experience in technical estimation, preferably within the wood or metal furniture industry.Experience with SAP is preferred.Strong ability to read and interpret complex 2D and 3D engineering drawings (AutoCAD / SolidWorks).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data preparation and analysis.
