IP Core Engineer

Role Overview:The IP Core Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining the IP core network to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of network services.Experience LevelsEngineer: 3 YearsSenior Engineer: 5–8 YearsKey Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and support IP Core network infrastructure- Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP- Manage MPLS networks, including L2VPN and L3VPN services- Perform Traffic Engineering (MPLS-TE) to optimize network performance- Handle Inter-Gateway (IGW) routing and operations- Monitor and support BGP operations, including BGP Operational LS- Implement and maintain BFD for fast failure detection- Perform network troubleshooting, fault analysis, and performance optimization- Ensure network reliability, redundancy, and service availabilityTechnical Requirements:- Strong hands-on experience with:- OSPF, BGP, IS-IS- MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN- Traffic Engineering (TE)- IGW- BGP Operational LS- BFD- Solid understanding of IP networking and core network architecture- Experience working in a service provider or large enterprise environment is a plus
