Job Title: Junior Quality Control (QC) EngineerJob SummaryWe are seeking a Junior Quality Control (QC) Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to write comprehensive test cases based on requirements, support developers in Test-Driven Development (TDD), and perform various testing types, including load testing and vulnerability scanning. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality, security, and performance of our software solutions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirements and specifications to create detailed test cases.Collaborate with developers to support Test-Driven Development (TDD).Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Conduct load testing to evaluate application performance under stress.Perform vulnerability scanning to identify security risks in the application.Document and report bugs, defects, and test results effectively.Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.Ensure test cases are updated and maintained throughout the development lifecycle.Continuously learn and adopt new testing methodologies and tools.Requirements1-2 years of experience in software quality control or testing.Ability to write detailed test cases based on requirements.Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and supporting developers in implementing it.Experience in manual and automated testing.Knowledge of load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus).Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.Preferred SkillsExperience with Selenium, Cypress, or other test automation frameworks.Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like New Relic or AppDynamics.
