Lead Civil Construction Engineer

Job Summary;We are currently hiring a Lead Civil Construction Engineer (Substations) to join our team and lead civil works execution across high-voltage substation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within quality standards, and in full compliance with HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all civil construction activities for HV/MV substation projects (foundations, buildings, cable trenches, roads, drainage, etc.).Supervise contractors and site teams to ensure work execution meets approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.Coordinate with electrical, planning, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth site progress.Review civil method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, and ensure proper implementation on-site.Monitor daily site progress and prepare reports, forecasts, and manpower/equipment plans.Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and site safety requirements.Manage inspections, material approvals, and handover documentation.Support project management in resolving site technical issues, claims, and variations.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.8–12 years of experience in civil construction, with strong exposure to substation projects.Proven experience leading site execution teams and subcontractors.Strong knowledge of civil scope in substations (earthworks, concrete works, buildings, drainage, trenching, fencing, etc.).Familiar with project documentation, ITPs, method statements, and quality standards.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.If interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
