Job Purpose: The job holder will drive the mission of the Tomorrow’s Leaders program by designing and implementing comprehensive leadership and civic education curricula. The role acts as the primary mentor for scholars, monitoring their academic and leadership progress, and managing the federally funded budget for cohort activities, e.g. conferences, retreats, and study abroad. The job holder will ensure the program meets US Federal Government standards while fostering a generation of civic-minded and professionally skilled leaders.Core Responsibilities:Program Management and Curriculum Design:Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of federally funded student programs to promote the personal development of a diverse student cohortDevelop student-centered curricula integrating academic excellence, community service, and leadership developmentDevelop semester and annual work plans that align with TL program goals. Update TL program manuals and guidelines to ensure currency and complianceStudent Development and Mentoring:Train, coach, advise, and mentor TL cohorts on and off campus to support their growthMonitor and evaluate student academic and leadership performance using various assessment toolsCoordinate targeted field trips, experiential learning, annual conferences, and networking opportunities with NGOsOperational and Financial Oversight:Manage the federally funded multi-million-dollar budget supporting cohort activities, conferences, and study abroad, ensuring compliance with US Federal Government StandardsDevelop quarterly technical progress reports for the donor, detailing program impact and student successAdditional Related Duties:Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in humanities or social sciences, e.g. psychology or development field, is requiredMaster’s degree in youth development, leadership education, human rights, or women studies is preferredMinimum of 10 years of total experience, including eight years of experience in multinational organizations, NGOs, or USAID-funded programsSkills:Operational: Ability to manage complex tasks, identify priorities, and manage data effectivelyCommunication: Excellent business writing skills, reports and proposals, with professional communication in English and ArabicInterpersonal: Tactful and diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentialityDecision Making: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsTechnical: Proficient user of IT systems and online applicationsCoaching: Skilled in coaching and mentoring individuals to enhance performance, build capacity, and support personal and professional developmentThis position is open until May 7, 2026.Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
