Mechanical Engineering supervisor

Job Description:Overseeing all mechanical, structural, and piping works on assigned projects, ensuring execution in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and international standards.Responsible for the supervision and technical oversight of steel structure fabrication and erection, piping systems installation, and mechanical equipment integration.Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects;Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team;Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements and representing them in the field;Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, personnel performance and reporting on the project’s status;Cooperating with and communicating with the Projects Superintendent and other participants and collaborating with all stakeholders to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project’s profitability;Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions;Developing specifications for the project’s needed equipment, Material and Manning;Ensuring the project’s compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalentFluent in English both written and oralCompetent in MS Office SuiteMinimum Experience:6–10 years’ experience in the construction industry focusing on mechanical, structural, and piping works;Job Specific Skills:Proficient in steel structure fabrication, welding, and erection, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., AWS, ASME)Strong expertise in piping systems installation, including fabrication, welding, pressure testing, and alignment of pipes, valves, and fittingsProven experience in mechanical equipment installation and integration with structural and piping systemsIn-depth knowledge of QA/QC procedures for steel, piping, and mechanical worksAbility to interpret and work with technical drawings, specifications, and P&IDFamiliarity with design and project management software (Primavera, AutoCAD, TEKLA) is a plusJob Location & Accommodation• Sukari Gold Mines, Red Sea – Marsa Alam• 20 days onsite / 10 days off• Home-to-site transportation provided• Full accommodation and well-being facilities provided
