Job SummaryThe Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and reporting on paid marketing campaigns for a fintech platform.The role focuses on user acquisition, paid social campaigns, app installs, conversion optimization, CAC reduction, and performance reporting. The person will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Growth, Creative Content Specialist, Social Media & Community Specialist, Product team, and Analytics team to ensure that marketing spend is used efficiently and campaigns are linked to clear business outcomes.The role will focus on:Paid user acquisition Campaign setup and optimization CAC and conversion tracking App install campaigns Paid social advertising Search advertising A/B testing Landing page and funnel performance Campaign reporting and insights KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES1. Paid Campaign ManagementPlan, launch, and manage paid marketing campaigns across key channels. Manage campaigns across platforms such as: TikTok Ads Meta Ads X Ads Google Ads YouTube Ads Apple Search Ads where applicable Monitor campaigns daily and optimize based on performance. Ensure campaigns are aligned with approved budget, target audience, and business objectives. 2. User Acquisition & App GrowthDrive user acquisition through paid channels. Support app install campaigns, registration campaigns, trial campaigns, and paid subscription campaigns. Optimize campaigns based on: Cost per install Cost per registration Cost per activated user Cost per paid subscriber CAC Work with the Product team to improve activation and conversion after acquisition. 3. CAC & Performance OptimizationTrack and improve Customer Acquisition Cost across campaigns and channels. Identify which channels, audiences, creatives, and messages deliver the best results. Shift budget toward higher-performing campaigns and reduce spend on weak campaigns. Support the Head of Marketing & Growth in improving: CAC LTV/CAC ratio Payback period Conversion rates Activation rates 4. Campaign Testing & ExperimentationRun structured experiments across campaigns. Test different: Audiences Creatives Headlines Landing pages Calls to action Campaign objectives Pricing messages Product messages Document test results and recommend what should be scaled, stopped, or changed. 5. Creative Performance FeedbackWork with the Creative Content Specialist to improve ad creatives. Provide feedback on which creatives are working and why. Request new creative formats based on campaign data, including: Short videos Static ads Carousel ads App screenshots Product demos Educational ads Offer-based ads Ensure creative decisions are supported by performance data. 6. Funnel & Conversion TrackingTrack the user journey from ad click to app install, registration, activation, and paid conversion. Identify funnel drop-offs and performance issues. Work with the Head of Marketing & Growth and Product team to improve: Landing pages App onboarding Registration flows Payment conversion Trial-to-paid conversion Ensure campaign tracking is properly set up and measured. 7. Reporting & DashboardsPrepare regular performance reports for the Head of Marketing & Growth. Report on: Spend Impressions Clicks CTR CPC CPM Installs Registrations Activations Paid conversions CAC ROAS where applicable Highlight insights, issues, and recommended actions, not only raw numbers. 8. Budget ControlManage campaign budgets according to approved plans. Monitor daily and weekly spend. Avoid overspending or inefficient campaign scaling. Recommend budget allocation by channel, audience, and campaign type. Ensure marketing spend is connected to measurable outcomes. 9. Compliance-Aware MarketingEnsure paid ads and campaign messages are not misleading or exaggerated. Avoid wording that sounds like financial advice or promises returns. Avoid phrases such as: Guaranteed return Safe investment Best stock Buy now This stock will rise Coordinate with the Head of Marketing & Growth and Financial Content team when financial wording needs review. 10. Experience managing paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, X, or similar platforms. Experience with app install campaigns, lead generation, or subscription-based digital products is preferred. Strong understanding of CAC, conversion rates, CTR, CPC, CPM, funnel metrics, and campaign optimization. Experience running A/B tests across creatives, audiences, and campaign objectives. Ability to read campaign data and turn it into clear recommendations. Experience working with creative, product, analytics, and marketing teams. Experience in fintech, consumer apps, SaaS, financial services, or high-growth digital platforms is preferred. Education and Certification RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Google Ads certification is preferred. Meta Blueprint certification is a plus. TikTok Ads or digital marketing certifications are a plus.
