With a presence that spans across multiple continents, including a new facility in Egypt, we are committed to ensuring excellence in every aspect of our work.Visit Life at Agrumaria Reggina to learn more about the company.Role Overview: The Process Scientist is responsible for optimizing production processes, supporting scale-up activities, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.In your role you will: Analyze manufacturing processes to improve yield, consistency, and cost‑efficiency using data‑driven methods such as SPC and trend analysis. Lead plant trials and scale‑up activities, ensuring smooth transition from development to full production. Provide expert support across extraction, concentration, blending, and citrus processing operations. Investigate non‑conformities, failures, and deviations, preparing technical reports and validation documentation. Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO, IFS, and internal standards, support audits, and collaborate with R&D, Production, and Procurement.The ideal candidate has: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in process engineering, food manufacturing, or quality systems.Nice to have: Strong technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes, including extraction, evaporation, filtration, blending, and thermal processing, supported by methodologies such as SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, and CAPA. Process optimization and troubleshooting expertise, with a data‑driven approach to improve efficiency, quality, and performance. Analytical and data management skills, including data interpretation, documentation control, and structured problem solving. Cross‑functional coordination and communication, ensuring effective collaboration across departments and alignment of priorities. Detail‑oriented and adaptable mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and clarity.
