Responsible for monitoring and controlling price negotiations, deliveries, and conditions of products with vendors/suppliers in order to obtain favorable terms for QNB. In addition, supervise on the “Procure to Pay Cycle”Duties & Responsibilities:1. Lead the process of selecting vendors/suppliers in coordination with I Procurement & Suppliers Registration team after comparing proposed offers.2. Evaluate vendors/suppliers’ commercial offers according to predefined qualitative and quantitative criteria.3. Participate in decision making in regards of choosing the most convenient vendor/supplier after comparing proposed offers.4. Participate in the process of evaluating sales representatives of manufacturers, wholesalers, and agents, appraising their commodities, discussing their business facilities and judging their ability to meet the bank purchase requirements.5. Coordinate with Tenders Management and Contracts team in deciding on terms and conditions of services and products contracts.6. Review invoices submitted to Billing team and ensure that all the required documents are included.7. Supervise on the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP), Purchase Order (PO), Call for tender and dispatches to selected vendors by e-mail.8. Manage all purchasing agreements and deals related to Assets, Logistics materials, Marketing and Communication products such as stationary, office equipment, generators, premises furniture, marketing giveaways and prints, etc.9. Monitor the process of handling gift purchases in coordination with concerned business lines.10. Ensure that bank donations are handled efficiently based on the Top Management recommendations.11. Review and validate the Purchase Orders that have been prepared by the Procurement team and ensure their compliance with purchasing policy and procedures.12. Review reports prepared by subordinates regarding cost and prices breakdowns on quarterly basis.13. Review suppliers report prepared by the Procurement executives and participate in decision making regarding imposing penalties on supplier.14. Ensure that all complaints that may raise concerning delivery are handled efficiently.15. Assist in resolving problems/difficulties notified by supplier in coordination with I-Procurement and Suppliers’ Registration Team16. Mentor and advise subordinates whenever needed and ensure smooth workflow.17. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the permanent supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.18.
