About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager – Core Banking to lead the planning and delivery of critical software initiatives related to our core banking systems and digital banking platform.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex software projects within the banking or financial services industry, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-scale systems.You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions aligned with banking standards and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead end-to-end delivery of core banking software projects.Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Stakeholder CoordinationCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align on project objectives.Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.Delivery & ExecutionManage software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies.Risk & ComplianceIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure alignment with banking regulations and security standards.ReportingProvide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance to leadership.Required QualificationsExperienceMinimum 5+ years of experience in software project managementProven experience delivering enterprise software projectsTechnical UnderstandingStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience working with engineering and product teamsMethodologiesExperience managing projects using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery modelsProfessional SkillsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with core banking systems such asTemenos T24Oracle FLEXCUBEExperience in digital banking or fintech environmentsExperience managing large-scale banking transformation projectsProject management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2
