Job Purpose:We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PM Consultant to join our ERP Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module, ensuring effective asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and reliability operations across the organization. The role demands deep functional expertise in SAP PM, strong integration knowledge with MM, FI/CO, PP, and QM modules, and the ability to collaborate with maintenance engineers, asset managers, and operations teams to deliver efficient and scalable SAP solutions.Key Responsibilities:Technical Objects & Asset Master Data (PM-EQM)Configure and maintain the PM technical object hierarchy: Functional Locations (FL), Equipment Masters, and their classification structuresDefine functional location structures, reference functional locations, and equipment installation/dismantling processesSet up equipment categories, object types, and ABC indicators for criticality-based maintenance strategiesManage serialization, equipment BOM linkage, and linear asset management for pipelines and roadsConfigure construction type management and equipment usage period tracking for asset lifecycle analysisPreventive Maintenance & Maintenance Planning (PM-PRM)Configure maintenance strategies, maintenance packages, and task list scheduling parameters for time-based and performance-based maintenanceSet up general task lists, equipment task lists, and functional location task lists with operations, materials, and PRTsCreate and manage maintenance plans (single cycle, strategy, multiple counters) and maintenance itemsConfigure scheduling indicators, tolerance values, and call horizon parameters for maintenance plan executionSet up service contracts and warranty management for vendor-supported equipment maintenanceMaintenance Orders & Work Order Management (PM-WOC)Configure maintenance order types, order profiles, control keys, and settlement rules for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenanceSet up planning plants, maintenance plants, and planner groups for decentralized maintenance organizationsManage work order lifecycle: creation, release, execution, confirmation, TECO, and settlement to cost centers or assetsConfigure component and capacity user exits, BAdIs, and custom enhancementsExecute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) with maintenance teamsDevelop end-user training materials and deliver hands-on training for maintenance planners, technicians, and supervisorsSupport, Operations & IntegrationProvide SAP PM production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLA timelinesPerform month-end and year-end activities: order settlement, WIP calculation, asset capitalization, and cost reconciliationManage cross-module integration: PM-MM (material reservations, PRs), PM-FI/CO (cost postings, asset accounting), PM-PP (production downtime), PM-QM (inspection lots), and PM-HR (workforce assignments)Coordinate with the BASIS team for system transports, patches, upgrades, and S/4HANA migration activitiesSecurity & Authorizations LeadServe as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP roles and authorizations.
