Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and results-driven SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience to join our growing ERP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and support of SAP SD module solutions, working collaboratively with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders. This role requires strong functional expertise across core SD processes and a proven track record in delivering full-cycle SAP SD implementations in complex business environments.Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation & ConfigurationLead and participate in end-to-end SAP SD implementation projects, covering blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare support.Configure and maintain core SAP SD components: Sales Order Management, Pricing & Conditions, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, Shipping & Delivery, and Returns Management.Set up and manage Enterprise Structure elements, including Sales Organizations, Distribution Channels, Divisions, and Sales Areas.Configure Output Determination, Partner Functions, Incompletion Procedures, and Copy Control across order-to-cash (O2C) processes.Design and configure complex pricing procedures, including condition types, access sequences, and pricing routines.Integration & Cross-Module CollaborationManage and troubleshoot integration touchpoints between SAP SD and other modules, particularly MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance & Controlling), and PP (Production Planning).Collaborate with ABAP developers to define functional specifications for custom developments, user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, forms (SmartForms/Adobe), and reports.Support EDI/IDOC configuration and troubleshooting for customer-facing transactions such as order acknowledgements, delivery notes, and invoices.Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration projects, supporting the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA SD landscape.Business Analysis & Stakeholder EngagementConduct requirement-gathering workshops with Sales, Distribution, Finance, and Supply Chain business owners.Analyze existing order-to-cash processes and recommend SAP best-practice solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve customer satisfaction.Prepare and maintain detailed functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flow diagrams, and business blueprint (BBP) documentation.Act as a functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, managing expectations throughout project delivery.Testing & Quality AssuranceDevelop comprehensive test scripts and execute unit testing, integration testing (with MM, FI, WM), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all SD configurations.Track and resolve defects identified during testing phases; coordinate closely with technical teams for timely fix delivery.Ensure solution quality and compliance with VAT regulations, e-invoicing requirements (ZATCA/GAZT for Saudi Arabia), and local statutory obligations.Support & Continuous ImprovementProvide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for SAP SD production issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal business impact.Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions or process enhancements.Monitor and apply SAP notes, Support Packages, and patches relevant to SD module functionality.Develop end-user training materials and conduct structured training sessions for sales representatives, order management teams, and logistics staff.Security & Authorizations LeadServe as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP roles and authorizations. Must possess the expertise to design, audit, and architect complex authorization concepts, and actively guide the Basis team in implementing and maintaining the security matrix.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, configuration guides, and functional specifications.Ensure SAP SD solutions comply with ZATCA e-invoicing mandates, VAT requirements, and applicable Saudi trade regulations.Support internal and external audits by providing relevant system documentation, access logs, and configuration evidence.Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.SAP SD certification (SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution) is highly preferred.Experience5 to 7 years of hands-on SAP SD functional consulting experience.Minimum 5 full-cycle SAP SD implementation projects from business blueprint through go-live and hypercare.Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD or SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7/8 is required; S/4HANA migration experience is a strong plus.Prior experience in the GCC/Saudi Arabian market, including knowledge of ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT compliance, and local business practices, is a significant advantage.Technical & Functional SkillsExpert configuration skills in: Sales Order Management, Pricing Procedures, Billing & Invoice Processing, Credit & Risk Management, Shipping & Transportation, and Returns/Reverse Logistics.Strong knowledge of SD-MM, SD-FI, and SD-WM integration scenarios.Hands-on experience with Output Determination (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAPscript), EDI/IDOC processing, and VOFM routines.Working knowledge of ABAP debugging, LSMW/BAPI for data migration, and SAP Query tools for functional use.Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for SD processes and S/4HANA simplifications (e.g., Business Partner, ACDOCA) is an advantage.Experience with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent project/ITSM tools.If you are interested, please send your CV to career@daamservice.com, mentioning the job title in the subject line.
