Senior Accountant – Financial Consultancy Firm

Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join a financial consultancy firm in Egypt.This role is focused on handling internal accounting operations, financial reporting, and supporting clients with structured financial data and insights. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on accounting experience in corporate or consultancy environments, with a strong understanding of financial processes — not audit fieldwork.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entriesPrepare financial statements and periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)Handle accounts payable and receivable processesPerform bank reconciliations and account analysisSupport budgeting and financial planning activitiesAssist in preparing financial reports for clients and managementEnsure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and financial standardsOrganize and maintain financial documentation and recordsCoordinate with internal teams and external advisors when requiredRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–5 years of accounting experience in corporate or financial environmentsBackground in auditing firms is not required and not preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingGood knowledge of tax regulations in EgyptProficiency in ExcelExperience with accounting systems or ERP tools is a plusClose attention to detail and strong organizational skillsGood command of EnglishPreferred ProfileExperience in financial consultancy or advisory firmsStrong analytical and reporting capabilitiesAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProblem-solving mindset and ownershipWork Environment✔ On-site – Cairo✔ Professional financial consultancy environment✔ Structured working hours✔ Opportunity to grow within a specialized financial field
