Senior Contracts Engineer

Job Summary:The Senior Contracts Engineer will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts across complex EPC projects, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and commercial protection of the company’s interests. This role involves leading contract administration activities, supporting project teams with contractual interpretation, and driving effective handling of claims, variations, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging technical, commercial, and legal aspects of projects while ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage all contract-related activities from tendering and award to execution and close-outDraft, review, and negotiate main contracts, subcontracts, and amendmentsEnsure full compliance with contractual obligations and project specificationsLead the preparation and evaluation of claims, variations, and EOT (Extension of Time) requestsIdentify contractual risks and support in developing mitigation strategiesProvide contractual guidance to project managers and cross-functional teamsLiaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and legal teams on contractual mattersMaintain proper documentation and records for all contract-related communicationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering.5–7 years of relevant experience in EPC / energy / infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard contract formsSolid experience in claims management and dispute resolutionStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsIf interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
