Senior Electrical Construction Engineer

Job Summary:The Senior Electrical Construction Engineer will oversee all electrical construction activities related to substation projects, ensuring execution is carried out in line with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves close coordination with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery, compliance with safety regulations, and successful commissioning of electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage electrical construction works for HV/MV substationsEnsure installation activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and standardsCoordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors on site activitiesMonitor project progress, productivity, and resource allocationEnsure compliance with HSE policies and quality standardsReview method statements, ITPs, and shop drawingsSupport testing, commissioning, and energization activitiesIdentify and resolve technical issues during construction phasesPrepare progress reports and maintain proper documentationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering5–7 years of experience in electrical construction within substation / power projectsStrong experience in HV/MV substations (GIS/AIS)Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE)Proven experience in site execution, testing, and commissioning supportStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsIf interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
