A Senior Electrical Technical Office Engineer is responsible for leading the technical and engineering activities related to electrical systems in construction or industrial projects. They act as the link between design, site implementation, procurement, and project management to ensure electrical works are executed correctly, on time, and within budget.Job Responsibilities:Create the design for the electrical component of RME projects to complete projects’ requirements.Research and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements.Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with standards and customer expectations.Conduct technical follow-up on technical office operations to ensure all electrical designs are drafted and implemented accurately.Support the on-site technical office with shop drawing and review when needed; by interpreting blueprints, technical shop drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.Study issues, accidents, or delays at the construction sites, and commission engineering consultants, in order to ensure adherence to standards and to manage change.Review and draft technical documents as needed or requested from the client, sub-contractor or consultant, such as Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), etc.Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.Lead document control activities to ensure full and accurate documentation of project details, and to ensure smooth transfer of designs, shop drawings, manuals, schematics, and reports to the customer during the project closure phase.Define and communicate the specific scope of work required from each subcontractor involved in the mega projects, facilitating the submission of comprehensive technical and financial proposals.Support direct manager by reviewing invoices received from the technical office to avoid mistakes or errors before sending them to the Finance department.Prepare subcontractors' addendums, incorporating any necessary adjustments for additional payments or changes in the scope of work.Conduct detailed reviews of subcontractors' claims and diligently seek the necessary approvals for their timely resolution.Contribute to the drafting of Variation Orders (VO)Conduct quantity survey when requested by direct manager for procurement purposes.Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or any relevant field4-9 years of relevant experienceAt Rowad Modern Engineering, we provide equal opportunities to all regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender identity. we do not just hire Talents-We invest in potential.
