Senior Quality Control Engineer MEP

JOB PURPOSEAssist the Project Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Management SystemRoles & ResponsibilitiesStart up Receive & review the project documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ’s)Participate in the preparation of the project’s Quality Documents (PQP, QMP’s and ITP’s, WPS’s, PQR’s etc.) including the quality forms that will be used along the project periodManage concrete trial mixes with vendor and clientManage Testing of primary materials (Rebar, CMU) for source approvalExecution Manage and perform Material Inspection upon receiving at site (MIR’s)Conduct random inspection on site activities and raise NCR alerts in case of defects/noncompliance.Identifying, eliminating, managing risks related to poor quality via NC alerts through daily site surveillance Issue of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) and the necessary follow-up of Corrections and Corrective actions.Perform 2nd Party audits on suppliers/Manufacturers.Managing testing agencies and 3rd parties within the project areaClose out Participate in assuring that all live quality documents (IR’s, MIR’s, NCR’s and test reports) are complete, scanned and filed in a manner matching the requirements of the contract or as per agreed with the clientParticipate in assuring that all external/internal NCR’s are closedManaging the issuance and closure of punch lists till acquiring the Taking over certificates (partial and final)Participate in the preparation of the project Quality close out report.MINIMUN QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTSEducation/ QualificationsBSC of Engineering Mechanical or ElectricalProfessional CertificationLead Auditor/Internal Auditor certificates is mustWork Experience5-8 years of experience in the Quality Field for Construction, Building, LRT, Industrial and infrastructure projects.LanguageGood command of English language Computer SkillsMicrosoft Office
