Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Cost & Tender Analysis Specialist to support our tendering and estimation activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive price analyses, breaking down project components based on assigned tasks, reviewing all tender documents, and preparing accurate, well-structured reports. This role requires strong coordination with the Direct Manager to address clarifications and ensure all submissions meet technical and commercial requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCost & Price AnalysisConduct detailed price analysis for each item included in the tender.Evaluate cost components to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with project specifications.Project Breakdown & DocumentationPrepare clear project breakdowns and work packages according to assigned tasks.Organize information in a structured format to support decision-making and tender preparation.Tender Review & ReportingReview and analyze all tender documents, drawings, and specifications.Prepare a comprehensive report summarizing tender requirements, scope, risks, and key considerations.Highlight discrepancies, missing data, or unclear specifications in need of clarification.Coordination & ClarificationsCommunicate with the Direct Manager to review tender clarifications and obtain the necessary directions.Support the preparation of clarification requests and ensure they are submitted on time.RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil.ExperienceFrom 3 to 5 Years of experience in tendering, cost estimation is Must.Familiarity with project documentation and construction/infrastructure tender processes is a plus.SkillsStrong analytical and numerical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Strong communication and reporting skills.About EDECS:EDECS is a leading organization with 30 years of experience in marine constructions, infrastructure, earthworks, and transportation projects in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, employing more than 2,000 employees.
