In Egypt, we are expanding our technical capabilities and investing in talent development to support regional operations.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Training Instructor to design and deliver high-quality technical training programs focused on direct drive wind turbine systems. The role will support capability building across Egypt and regional markets, ensuring operational excellence and technical competency.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical training programs in English for engineers and technicians.Develop and continuously improve training materials, courseware, and structured learning systems.Provide in-depth training on:Main control systemsConverter systemsPitch systems of direct drive wind turbinesConduct hands-on practical training, including:Equipment operationComponent assembly/disassemblyMaintenance of key turbine componentsUtilize and train on various diagnostic and testing instruments (e.g., vibration analysis, electrical testing, NDT tools).Analyze technical data and provide insights to improve training effectiveness.Support cross-regional training initiatives and travel internationally when required.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in operation & maintenance of direct drive wind turbines.At least 4 years in a technical support or leadership role.Proven experience in technical training delivery and course development.Strong knowledge of:Electrical engineering fundamentalsWind turbine systems and control logicExcellent hands-on technical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.Proficiency in English (training delivery is mandatory in English).Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently (regional/international).Key CompetenciesStrong communication and presentation skillsHigh learning agility and adaptabilityProblem-solving and analytical thinkingExecution-driven with a proactive mindsetWhy Join GoldwindWork with a global leader in renewable energyBe part of a regional technical excellence and training hubExposure to international projects and cross-cultural environmentsOpportunity to shape the next generation of wind energy professionals
