Business Line:ELSEWEDY TelecomWork Location:10th Of Ramadan, EgyptJob purpose:A tender engineer has to manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders and proposals according to clients’ requirements, specified deadlines, and within budgets and market situations.Key Accountabilities:Participate in defining the objectives and oversee quality control, health and safety, and environmental issues throughout the project life cycle.Support and assist project development from beginning to end, including participation in the execution and oversight.Assist in obtaining technical information and costs from manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, service providers, etc., for main components.Study and compare received offers/quotations and lead the negotiation of both technical and commercial aspects of products/services.Assist in the preparation of the project's detailed cost breakdown and implementation schedule.Prepare, consolidate, compile, and complete tender/proposal technical and commercial documents in line with customers’ requirements.Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign-off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.Attend the technical meetings and prepare minutes of the meetings and documentation.Maintain documentation, keep records, and maintain/update suppliers'/manufacturers'/subcontractors' databases.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.Participate in developing best practices and tools for project execution and managementTake responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.Qualifications & Education:A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.2 to 4 years of experience, preferably.The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.Excellent project management and supervision skills.Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Business fluency in English
