About The RoleAt Octane, Payroll Operations are essential to ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with company policies and labor regulations. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in managing payroll processes, maintaining employee compensation records, and supporting a smooth and efficient payroll experience across the organization.This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and sensitive information. You will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, verifying employee data, and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations. Your accuracy and efficiency will directly contribute to employee satisfaction and operational excellence.What You'll Be DoingProcess monthly end to end payroll transactions accurately and on timeMaintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefitsReview attendance, overtime, bonuses, and leave records for payroll calculationsEnsure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company payroll policiesPrepare payroll reports and support audits when requiredHandle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficientlyCoordinate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams for payroll-related activitiesManage payroll documentation and maintain confidentiality of employee informationSupport the implementation and improvement of payroll processes and systemsAssist in preparing salary transfers, tax filings, and payroll reconciliationsKey Areas of OwnershipPayroll Processing & AdministrationPayroll Compliance & ReportingEmployee Data Accuracy & DocumentationPayroll Issue Resolution & SupportWhat We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field3–5years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or a similar roleStrong numerical, analytical, and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of payroll regulations and labor lawsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systemsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalismStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesFamiliarity with HR systems or ERP software is a plusProactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindsetIf you’re excited to join a fast-growing company and want to play a key role in supporting our people and operations, we’d love to hear from you.Send us your updated resume to hr@octane-tech.io with the subject line "Payroll Specialist – Cairo".
