Our client is hiring a Sales Manager to build and lead a high-performance sales function that converts the company's growing brand and market presence into student registrations and revenue. This is not a figurehead role; you will own the sales team, the ambassador program, the CRM, and 30% of our client's total annual revenue target. You will report directly to the CEO and operate as the commercial engine of the company.The ambassador network currently generates 90% of registrations. Your mandate is to professionalize, scale, and diversify this channel while building a disciplined, data-driven direct sales team alongside it.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a 4-person sales team with daily check-ins and weekly performance reviewsDesign, activate, and scale the student ambassador program — currently Plan P's highest-converting channelImplement and own the CRM system end-to-end: every lead logged, every conversion tracked, zero unlogged interactionsSet monthly and quarterly sales targets in collaboration with the CEO; cascade to individual reps with clear accountabilityDesign and manage the commission and incentive structure for both sales reps and ambassadorsCollaborate with the Marketing Director to align campaigns with conversion targets and lead handover processesProduce a weekly sales dashboard: pipeline status, funnel metrics, conversion rates, ambassador performanceIdentify and develop new sales channels, including B2B institutional partnerships and corporate training registrationsMaintain field presence — visit universities, hospitals, and partner institutions to build a pipelineRequirements3–5 years of proven sales management experience, leading teams of 3+ peopleDemonstrated track record of coaching, developing, and holding sales reps accountable to targetsCRM proficiency — HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or equivalentMedical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or EdTech industry background strongly preferredExperience managing ambassador, referral, or affiliate sales programs is a strong advantageData-driven mindset: comfortable with weekly reporting, funnel analysis, and target accountabilityCairo-based and able to work on-site, minimum 4 days/week — this is not a remote roleStrong communication and people management skills with a coaching-first leadership approachSkillsSales team leadership and performance managementCRM implementation and pipeline managementAmbassador/referral program design and scalingRevenue forecasting and target settingCommission structure designB2B and B2C sales strategy in education or healthcareData analysis and sales reportingBenefitsDirect reporting line to the CEO with full commercial authorityOpportunity to build the sales function from the ground up at a high-growth startupPerformance-based compensation with a competitive commission structureExposure to MENA-wide expansion as Plan P scales into GCC markets
