Senior Planning Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and update detailed baseline project schedules (including EPS, WBS, and activities) using Primavera P6 or MS Project.Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction phases into a master timeline, identifying the critical path and potential bottlenecks.Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress on site; compare actual progress against planned schedules to identify variances.Conduct detailed delay analysis and Forensic Planning to evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims and prepare mitigation plans.Prepare comprehensive progress reports, cash flow forecasts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for top management and project stakeholders.Resource loading and leveling to ensure optimal distribution of manpower, equipment, and materials across project phases.Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to align operational schedules and resolve bottlenecks.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.5+ years of planning and scheduling experience specifically within large-scale construction or real estate development projects.Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; strong command of MS Excel for data analysis.Proven track record in delay analysis methodologies and drafting comprehensive claims/EOT reports.Solid understanding of construction sequences, resource management, and budgeting/cash flow principles.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with site teams and management.
