JOB DETAILSJob Title: Design Senior EngineerSector/Business Line: ElSewedy Electric T&DScope: Transmission & DistributionDepartment: Technical Office Dept.Job Location: Head Office.Accountabilities:Prepare and review mechanical Design & Shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.Conduct detailed MEP coordination with electrical and civil disciplines to resolve clashes.Analyze project specifications, design drawings, and tender documents to ensure accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.Prepare material submittals, technical queries (RFIs), and method statements for consultant/client approvals.Provide technical support to procurement and site execution teams by reviewing supplier submittals, selecting materials, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.Develop and implement value engineering solutions to optimize design and reduce project costs without compromising quality or safety.Direct Manager: Design Section Head - Mechanical.Qualification:Years of experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the MEP industry, with at least 4 years in a technical office role.Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s in mechanical Power Engineering.Language proficiency: English & Arabic.Computer skills: MS office, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, Duct Sizer.
